Photos of Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea

I’ve been very remiss with uploading my photographs to Picasa for the last few months. The fact that I am leaving South Korea on Tuesday has forced me to get up to date with everything.

Hadrian’s Wall

I’ve just returned from a week long hiking holiday in Northumberland and Cumbria. A friend from school and I walked the from Whitley Bay on the East coast of Northumberland, along Hadrian’s wall to Bowness-on-Solway on the West Coast of Cumbria.

The scenery up there is beautiful:

We walked to raise money for the Parkinson’s Disease Society. If you would like to make a donation, please go to:

Everyone that we met along the way was very friendly. I should also thank:

Virgin Trains for giving us free, first class train tickets up to Newcastle and back from Carlisle.

Les Gibson at the Old Repeater Station hostel for letting us join you for you birthday dinner. The pheasant was delicious.

Maureen and Michael Miller at the Old Chapel in Bowness-on-Solway for lending me a fiver for the bus. Having walked all the way from Carlisle, I doubt that I would have enjoyed walking all the way back.
